3.5MM Ankle Hook LCP

The Ø3.5mm Ankle Hook Locking Compression Plate (LCP) is a specialized implant designed for the fixation of distal fibular fractures, particularly lateral malleolus fractures involving the ankle joint. The plate features an integrated hook at its distal end that provides enhanced grip and buttress support to the distal fibula, helping to prevent fragment migration and maintain anatomical alignment.
Engineered with a combination of locking and compression holes, this plate allows for stable fixation in a variety of fracture patterns, including simple, comminuted, or osteoporotic cases. The contoured anatomical design closely follows the curvature of the distal fibula, minimizing the need for intraoperative adjustments.
Made from high-quality stainless steel or titanium, the plate is lightweight, strong, and compatible with Ø3.5mm locking and cortical screws.
- The 3.5MM LCP Hook Plate is indicated for fractures, osteotomies and nonunions of small bones, including the ulna, radius, tibia and fibula, particularly in osteopenic bone
- Hooked Distal End Designed for enhanced fixation in the distal fibula, especially in osteoporotic or comminuted fractures.
- Anatomical Contouring Pre-contoured plate shape ensures optimal fit to the lateral distal fibula, minimizing intraoperative bending.
- Locking & Compression Combination Combi-holes allow for both standard cortical screws and locking screws, giving the surgeon flexible fixation options.
- Low-Profile Design Reduces soft tissue irritation and allows for easier soft tissue coverage, crucial in the ankle region.
- Multiple Screw Options Accepts Ø3.5mm locking and cortical screws for both metaphyseal and diaphyseal fixation.
- Enhanced Stability Hook portion provides subchondral support and improved resistance against rotational forces.
- Medical-Grade Material Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel or titanium for biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.
