Polyaxial Reduction Screw | Titanium

Accordion Hover Style
+ Description

The Polyaxial Reduction Screw is a specialized pedicle screw combining the flexibility of a polyaxial head with a built-in reduction mechanism. It is designed for use in spinal fusion and fixation procedures, especially where controlled vertebral realignment is required. The movable screw head allows for multi-directional angulation, aiding rod placement even in anatomically challenging cases, while the reduction threads or towers enable precise approximation of the spinal rod to the vertebral screw heads.

Constructed from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V ELI), it offers high fatigue strength, biocompatibility, and imaging compatibility.

Accordion Hover Style with Bullets
+ Indications
  • Reduction of Spondylolisthesis (Grades I–II)
  • Spinal Deformity Correction (e.g., scoliosis, kyphosis)
  • Spinal Trauma Stabilization
  • Posterior Spinal Fusion (thoracic, lumbar, sacral)
  • Revision Surgery involving vertebral malalignment
  • Vertebral instability due to trauma, degeneration, or deformity
  • Cases requiring both rod alignment flexibility and vertebral reduction
  • Patients with anterior vertebral slippage needing rod-to-screw approximation
  • Spinal constructs where precise correction and secure fixation are essential
Accordion Hover Style with Bullets
+ Key Features
  • Polyaxial (Multi-Angle) Head : Permits up to 360° motion for easier rod insertion and alignment. Adapts to variable spinal anatomies and rod contours
  • Integrated Reduction Mechanism : Features extended threads or towers for gradual rod-to-screw approximation. Facilitates realignment in cases of vertebral slippage or deformity
  • Secure Locking System : Firmly locks the polyaxial head once alignment is achieved. Ensures stable, rigid fixation post-reduction
  • Self-Tapping / Self-Drilling Tip : Enhances bone grip and reduces surgical time
  • Low-Profile Head Design : Minimizes soft tissue irritation and promotes wound closure
  • Titanium Alloy Construction : Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and compatible with MRI/CT imaging
  • Color-Coded Sizing (Optional) : Simplifies intraoperative identification of screw dimensions
