+ Description
The PEEK PLIF Cage is an interbody fusion device used in Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (PLIF) procedures to treat lumbar spine disorders. It is made from medical-grade PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) — a biocompatible, radiolucent polymer with mechanical properties similar to human bone.
Inserted via a posterior approach, the cage helps restore disc height, stabilize the spine, and facilitate bone growth between vertebrae. The hollow center of the cage allows for bone graft packing, encouraging fusion while maintaining spinal alignment and load sharing.
