Anterior Cervical Screw Self Tapping | Titanium

+ Description
The Anterior Cervical Screw – Self-Tapping (Ti) is a spinal fixation component used in anterior cervical plate systems during Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF). It is designed to secure the cervical plate to the vertebral body, providing immediate segmental stability and promoting fusion.
Made from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI), this self-tapping screw eliminates the need for pre-tapping, allowing for faster and more efficient screw insertion. Available in fixed-angle or variable-angle options, it is designed to lock securely into the plate with anti-backout features.
+ Indications
- Anterior Cervical Plate Fixation (as part of ACDF construct)
- Cervical vertebral body stabilization
- Cervical disc disease with instability
- Degenerative disc disease requiring fusion
- Spondylosis or cervical stenosis with neurological symptoms
- Pseudarthrosis or revision spinal fusion
- Cervical fractures or trauma requiring anterior stabilization
+ Key Features
- Self-Tapping Tip : Cuts its own thread into the vertebral body, reducing surgical steps and instrumentation.
- Medical-Grade Titanium Alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI) : Lightweight, strong, biocompatible, corrosion-resistant, and MRI-compatible.
- Fixed or Variable Angle Options : Allows for surgical flexibility and controlled screw trajectory.
- Locking Mechanism Compatibility : Designed to lock securely into anterior cervical plates, preventing screw migration or loosening.
- Low Profile Head : Minimizes prominence, reducing the risk of soft tissue irritation and dysphagia.
- Multiple Lengths & Diameters Available : Adaptable to different patient anatomies and bone qualities.
- Radiopaque : Clearly visible on X-ray and fluoroscopy for intraoperative guidance and postoperative monitoring.
- ISO 13485 & CE Certified : Compliant with international standards for surgical implants.
