Emergency Rescue Screw Self Drilling | Titanium

+ Description
The Emergency Rescue Screw – Self-Drilling (Ti) is a specialized spinal and orthopedic implant designed for intraoperative rescue situations where primary screws fail to achieve optimal fixation. Featuring a self-drilling tip, it enables direct insertion without pre-drilling, making it ideal for quick deployment during revision or salvage scenarios.
Manufactured from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI), the screw provides excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength, especially in compromised or osteoporotic bone. Its increased thread diameter ensures improved bone engagement, enhancing construct stability in critical conditions.
+ Indications
- Intraoperative rescue during spine or trauma procedures
- Replacement for stripped or loosened primary screws
- Reinforcement in osteoporotic bone cases
- Failed initial screw fixation during ACDF, PLIF, TLIF, or posterior spinal fusion
- Osteoporotic or poor bone quality conditions
- Revision spinal or trauma surgery
- Bone channels damaged by repeated insertion
- Emergency salvage during implant construct assembly
+ Key Features
- Self-Drilling Tip : Allows direct screw placement without prior drilling or tapping Reduces surgical time and simplifies instrumentation
- Oversized Thread Design : Offers enhanced grip and pull-out strength in previously tapped or fragile bone
- Titanium Alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI) : Lightweight, strong, and biocompatible Safe for use with imaging and MRI
- Quick-Engage Drive Interface : Ensures fast and secure engagement with standard rescue screwdrivers
- Color-Coded Head (Optional) : For easy intraoperative identification among standard screws
- Multiple Sizes Available : Range of diameters and lengths to address various salvage needs
