Anterior Cervical Cage | PEEK

+ Description
The Anterior Cervical Cage made from PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a biocompatible, radiolucent interbody device engineered for use in Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) procedures. This cage is designed to restore disc height, maintain cervical alignment, and facilitate bony fusion between vertebral bodies.
PEEK offers a modulus of elasticity similar to cortical bone, minimizing stress shielding and promoting natural load transfer. The cage features an internal graft cavity for bone graft placement, supporting robust fusion and long-term stability.
+ Indications
- Cervical disc herniation
- Cervical degenerative disc disease
- Spondylosis and segmental instability
- Post-traumatic disc collapse or deformity
- Failed previous fusion (pseudoarthrosis)
- Primarily used in Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) surgeries
- Ideal for 1–2 level fusions, often in conjunction with an anterior cervical plate and screws
- Promotes load-sharing and fusion while preserving cervical biomechanics
+ Key Features
- Constructed from Medical-Grade PEEK : Biocompatible and non-reactive Offers excellent fatigue resistance and long-term implant performance
- Radiolucent with Radiopaque Markers : Allows clear visualization of surrounding anatomy in X-rays and CT scans Markers help confirm cage positioning during and after surgery
- Central Bone Graft Chamber : Enables packing of autograft or allograft for enhanced osteointegration
- Anti-Migration Surface Design : Features serrations or teeth to help anchor the cage and prevent displacement
- Anatomic and Low-Profile Design : Conforms to the natural curvature of the cervical spine Available with or without lordotic angulation for sagittal alignment
- Multiple Sizes and Footprints : Adaptable to various patient anatomies and cervical levels
- Lightweight and Imaging-Friendly : Does not cause imaging artifacts in MRI or CT
- ISO 13485 & CE Certified : Manufactured according to international standards for spinal implants
