Accordion Hover Style
+ Description

The Spinal Hook (Ti) is a titanium implant designed to anchor onto the lamina, transverse process, or pedicle of a vertebra, and integrate into a posterior spinal fixation system. It provides supplemental fixation or an alternative to pedicle screws in cases where screw placement is challenging or contraindicated.

Typically made from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI), spinal hooks are compatible with rods (usually 3.5 mm or 5.5 mm) and are available in a variety of configurations such as laminar, pedicle, transverse process, and sublaminar hooks.

+ Indications
  • Supplemental fixation in thoracic and lumbar spinal constructs
  • Cases where pedicle screw placement is anatomically difficult or high-risk
  • Adolescent scoliosis correction (especially with hybrid constructs)
  • Spinal trauma where laminar support is viable
  • Tumor or infection cases requiring non-pedicle anchoring
  • Used in conjunction with rods and screws for spinal stabilization
  • Often employed in scoliosis procedures and spinal deformity correction
  • Can also be used in hybrid constructs (hook-screw systems)
