Expandable Cervical Cage with Plate

Accordion Hover Style
+ Description

The Anterior Cervical Odontoid Screw – Partial Thread (Ti) is a specialized spinal implant used in the treatment of Type II and select Type III odontoid fractures via the anterior approach. The partial thread design is engineered to provide a lag effect, allowing the screw to compress the fracture fragments and promote primary bone healing.

Crafted from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI), the screw offers superior biocompatibility, mechanical strength, and MRI compatibility, while minimizing the risk of corrosion. It is available in cannulated and solid variants to support both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques.

+ Indications
  • Type II odontoid (dens) fractures
  • Shallow Type III odontoid fractures
  • Acute or minimally displaced fractures
  • Fractures with preserved C1–C2 alignment
  • Patients in whom posterior fusion is not preferred (to preserve cervical rotation)
  • Anterior cervical fixation of odontoid fractures
  • Compression fixation in osteosynthesis of dens fractures
  • Standalone odontoid screw fixation
