MODULAR BIPOLAR RINGLOCK CUP

Accordion Hover Style
+ Description

The Modular Bipolar Prosthesis with Ringlock is a type of hip replacement implant designed for partial hip arthroplasty (hemiarthroplasty), especially in elderly patients or those with compromised bone quality. This prosthesis features a bipolar head system, where an inner metal head articulates with a polyethylene liner housed within a metal outer shell, providing dual mobility. The Ringlock mechanism secures the components, enhancing implant integrity and minimizing disassembly risks.

The modular design allows for flexibility in selecting appropriate head sizes, neck lengths, and stem sizes, facilitating better anatomical and biomechanical restoration.

  • athological fractures or non-unions of the femoral neck.
  • Cases where acetabulum is intact and not requiring total hip replacement.
  • Revision surgeries for failed internal fixation (like screws or DHS).
  • Arthritic changes confined to femoral head with good acetabular cartilage.
