Monoaxial Screw | Titanium

Accordion Hover Style
+ Description

The Monoaxial Screw is a spinal fixation component used in posterior spinal instrumentation systems. Made from medical-grade titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V ELI), it is designed for use in the thoracolumbar and sacral spine to provide rigid fixation in cases of instability, deformity, trauma, or degenerative disorders.

Unlike polyaxial screws, monoaxial screws have a fixed head, offering maximum rigidity and control when performing corrective maneuvers such as spinal derotation, compression/distraction, or deformity correction.

+ Indications
  • Posterior spinal stabilization
  • Thoracic and lumbar spine trauma
  • Spinal deformity correction (e.g., scoliosis, kyphosis)
  • Degenerative spine surgery
  • Tumor and infection-related spinal instability
  • Revision surgeries requiring rigid fixation
  • Spinal instability due to trauma, deformity, or degenerative changes
  • Fracture fixation in thoracolumbar spine
  • Cases requiring strong anchorage and correction force
  • Situations where polyaxial mobility is not required
